The Pioneer Museum is a quirky little museum filled with all kinds of interesting artifacts and stories, focused on the original pioneer settlers in western Hennepin County. The museum has several rooms, which are organized into similar groups of items (music, textiles, general store, etc.) The building used to be the Long Lake school house – the old Long Lake school tower house bell from 1880 is one of the artifacts on display.
